The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hardy is taking a breather. Oceans says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Oceans is looking for a sweep. Hardy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Despite being in the dominant position, Dracula Hardy just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hardy tries to free his leg and advance position but Oceans is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dracula Hardy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
