Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donald Mozzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sammy Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sammy Swagger told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donald Mozzer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Swagger! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swagger closes the distance and clinches up with Mozzer, looking for a takedown. Swagger pushes Mozzer against the cage but Mozzer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Swagger fails with an attempt to clinch.
Swagger closes the distance and clinches. Swagger tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Swagger breaks from the clinch.
Swagger clinches up against the cage. Swagger gets control of Mozzer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Swagger will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Swagger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mozzer is one step ahead there. Swagger pulls Mozzer in close to his closed guard and prevents Mozzer from doing any damage or advancing position. Swagger is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swagger can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mozzer controls the pace. Swagger wants to stand and escape but Mozzer is having none of it. Mozzer trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Mozzer controls from within his opponent's guard. Swagger working a defensive guard here.
Mozzer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Mozzer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Swagger swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mozzer passes Swagger's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Swagger is staying active underneath Mozzer, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mozzer is thwarting Swagger's attempts to control the position. Mozzer trying to pass the guard but Swagger defending well. Swagger wants to control but Mozzer is keeping busy.
Swagger won't allow Mozzer to pass to mount.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mozzer scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Swagger rushes Mozzer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swagger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mozzer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mozzer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Mozzer is breathing heavily. Swagger wants to control but Mozzer is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mozzer trying to control from half guard but Swagger is working away. Mozzer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Swagger is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Swagger is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mozzer wants to free his trapped foot but Swagger is holding on for dear life with his legs. Swagger wants to control but Mozzer is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mozzer looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mozzer has his takedown stuffed and Swagger counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Swagger. Swagger has Mozzer pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mozzer manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Donald Mozzer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sammy Swagger. Swagger ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Swagger no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Mozzer wants to control from the top but Swagger keeps moving. Mozzer works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mozzer is keen to just control but Swagger is a slippery customer. Swagger moves into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Donald Mozzer will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Mozzer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Swagger smiles and moves away.

Swagger takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mozzer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Swagger is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swagger not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Mozzer trying to control here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Swagger trying to control the action but Mozzer is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mozzer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Swagger counters with a one-two to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swagger lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Swagger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mozzer did well to prevent Swagger getting side control. Swagger tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Mozzer. Mozzer won't allow Swagger to pass to mount. Swagger takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Swagger throwing shots but Mozzer is blocking nicely. Mozzer is staying active underneath Swagger, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Mozzer is concentrating on defense, preventing Swagger from advancing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swagger looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Swagger seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mozzer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mozzer stuffs the takedown attempt from Swagger. Swagger gets slowly back to his feet. Donald Mozzer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mozzer falls off balance throwing a combination
and Swagger counters with a head kick. Mozzer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mozzer wants it to stay on the feet. Nice takedown defense from Mozzer. No joy for Swagger on that attempt. Donald Mozzer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sammy Swagger. Swagger connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Mozzer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swagger closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Swagger lands in his opponent's guard. Swagger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mozzer swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Swagger is looking to stand up but Mozzer won't let him. Swagger tries to free his leg and advance position but Mozzer is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sammy Swagger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Swagger trying to control the action but Mozzer is working from the bottom. Swagger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Swagger feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mozzer's calf.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swagger shoots in but no luck this time. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Swagger. Swagger forces Mozzer back against the cage and clinches. Swagger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Swagger closes the distance and clinches. Swagger tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mozzer smiles and moves away.

Mozzer forces his way into half guard. Mozzer trying to mount his opponent but Swagger defends it. Mozzer wants to control but Swagger is keeping him busy. Mozzer tries to pass to full mount but Swagger defends it. Swagger is trying to stand up here but Mozzer is controlling him well.

Swagger wants to control but Mozzer is having none of it. Mozzer controlling from the full mount. Mozzer trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Swagger is in all sorts of trouble here.
Mozzer controlling the pace for now. Mozzer trying to control but Swagger is having none of it. Swagger wants to try and get back to his feet. Swagger is trying desperately to improve position. Swagger wants to hold on but Mozzer pushes him away.
And that's the end of the fight! Sammy Swagger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Swagger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
