The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kegslam connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Guerra wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kegslam keeps working.

Guerra lands a high kick to the side of Kegslam's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Guerra dives into guard, looking to finish.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kegslam is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Guerra has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kegslam is proving hard to escape from.

Kegslam pulls Guerra in to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Kegslam connects with a good right hand that stumbles Guerra. Guerra circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Kegslam jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dirk Kegslam is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Guerra takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kegslam wants to slow Guerra down by chopping away at his legs.

Guerra displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kegslam throws out the jab.
Oh Guerra is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Guerra uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kegslam.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Guerra keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kegslam.
Guerra seems to have got his legs back now.
Kegslam lands a jab.
Kegslam walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Guerra drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kegslam swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Guerra's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
