Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose De La Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and knowm sayin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De La Cruz comes to the cage accompanied by forever. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Cruz throws a right and a left that sayin avoids nicely.
sayin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

sayin shoots in and bounces De La Cruz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

sayin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and sayin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

sayin is looking to take a break and control but De La Cruz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
De La Cruz looks to land a combination but sayin avoids it well.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

sayin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming De La Cruz to the mat! De La Cruz manages to get full guard.
sayin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
sayin is pushing down on De La Cruz's leg trying to pass to half guard. De La Cruz is fighting to maintain full guard but sayin has managed to sneak the leg through.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nice takedown defense from De La Cruz. No joy for sayin on that attempt.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
sayin shoots in for a double leg but De La Cruz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

sayin goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now De La Cruz is on top in guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

sayin uses his free foot to push down on De La Cruz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for De La Cruz.
De La Cruz is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
De La Cruz tries to buck sayin off but sayin takes his back!
