Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louie Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daley comes into the arena with I can't Dance-Phil Collins blaring out of the sound system. Louie Cane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Trevor Daley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Louie Cane! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cane throws a series of punches but Daley avoids them all with ease. Daley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cane circles away. Daley staying out of range there. Daley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cane scores with the left hand. Daley knows he should have avoided that one. Daley checks a leg kick nicely. Daley doesn't manage to clinch there - Cane circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cane. Cane pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Daley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cane tries to avoid it but Daley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cane to the ground. Cane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cane stuffs the takedown attempt from Daley. Daley gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trevor Daley. That's going to take a lot out of him. A punch lands to the side of Daley 's head but he takes it in his stride. No luck for Daley with that takedown attempt. Cane misses with a hook. Cane throws the left hand but Daley avoids the punch easily. Cane throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Daley counters by clinching up. Daley wants a takedown but no success here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Daley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cane walks away with a smile on his face. Daley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jab by Cane. Nice shot by Cane. Cane misses with a straight left. Daley takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Daley tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Daley somewhat. Daley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cane to the mat! Cane manages to get full guard. Cane looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daley has gone for a leg lock! Cane slips out almost immediately though and dives into Daley's guard. Daley wants to stand but Cane is controlling the position. Daley wants to sweep here but Cane controlling him for the moment. Daley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Cane stands and steps away. Daley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cane throws the left hand but Daley avoids the punch easily. Daley takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Cane swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Daley counters with a single leg into guard. Cane didn't expect that. Daley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cane swivels though and keeps the full guard. Daley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Cane looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Louie Cane dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cane lands a glancing blow to the side of Daley's head. Daley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cane but Cane pushes him off and we're back to square one. Daley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cane did well to prevent Daley getting side control. Daley thows a huge punch but Cane dodges it nicely.
Daley tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Daley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cane defending well though. Daley is trying to work for a kimura but Cane is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cane throws a leg kick but Daley sees it coming and moves out of range. Cane throws a series of punches but Daley moves out of range. Daley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cane's half guard. Daley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cane doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Daley. Daley not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cane is refusing to be controlled, as Daley sits in half guard. Cane is trying to maintain the position but Daley is very close to passing his half guard. Daley is looking for a kimura here.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Cane connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Daley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Daley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Daley fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Cane throws a hook but Daley blocks it. Cane misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cane throws a right and a left that both miss. Daley shoots in but Cane avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trevor Daley dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Daley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Cane dives on top into guard. Daley looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Daley thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Cane decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Cane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Daley sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cane connects with the punch. A right-left combo lands from Cane. Cane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Daley momentarily.
Daley clinches up against the cage. Daley tries for a takedown. No joy.
Cane has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Cane tries to break the clinch but Daley is controlling the position. Daley lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cane backwards. Daley jumps guard.
Cane avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Daley pushes Cane off and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Louie Cane. I think Cane has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
