The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki misses with a takedown attempt - Ziskie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Suzuki throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Ziskie scores with a jab to the body.
Ziskie scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Akira Suzuki has been cut.
Ziskie gets a clinch.
Ziskie working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Suzuki can't break the clinch.
Suzuki is working for takedown but Ziskie is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ziskie lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ziskie is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Suzuki can't fight it off and eventually Ziskie manages to take the fight to the floor. Suzuki looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ziskie forces his way into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ziskie seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Suzuki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ziskie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ziskie slows the pace down in half guard.
Ziskie takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Suzuki kicks off Ziskie and gets to his feet.

Ziskie closes the distance and clinches.
Suzuki seems to have recovered his senses.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Ziskie.
Suzuki wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ziskie manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ziskie.
Ziskie dips a shoulder and cracks Suzuki with a mighty uppercut! Suzuki falls back against the ropes and Ziskie unloads with a barrage of strikes! Suzuki is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the ropes! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ziskie screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phillip Ziskie!
