Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between killa joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Viv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). killa joe is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, killa joe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Viv!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
joe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
joe looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Viv is looking to clinch.
joe shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Viv pinned against the cage. Viv gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
joe looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Viv is fending him off so far but joe persists. Nope, Viv circles away and we're back to standing.
Viv clinches up with joe and pushes him back against the cage.
Viv tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

and joe decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Viv's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Viv is on top in guard.

joe has his foot on Viv's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Viv works his way back into a safe position though.

joe shoots in for a takedown but Viv shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Viv lands with a kick to the temple. joe shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

joe closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Viv moves in looking to clinch but joe pushes him off.

Viv throws a nice outside leg kick.
Viv misses with a takedown
and joe counters by clinching up.
Viv wants to stall.
joe gets a trip takedown into half guard.
joe postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Viv to stand up.
joe swats away the attempt to clinch by Viv.
Viv moves in looking to clinch but joe pushes him off.

joe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

joe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Viv walks away with a smile on his face. joe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

and joe counters with a flying knee. Nice.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

joe throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

joe is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
killa joe is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for joe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
