The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takanen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Takanen misses the shot to the body.

Takanen looks to land a right hand but Silakka moved out of range.
Silakka listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Takanen throws out a loose jab but Silakka uses good head movement to avoid it.
A right-left combo lands from Takanen.
Takanen lands with a right hand.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Silakka checks a leg kick.
Takanen misses with an uppercut. Silakka saw that one coming.
Esko Takanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takanen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Takanen cracks a nice hook into Silakka's ribs.
Silakka takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Silakka is rocked!
Silakka is holding his hands too far apart here. Takanen throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Silakka is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
