Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Beanie Braids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jones Shane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braids comes into the arena with I Made It" (Cash Money Heroes) blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Beanie Braids!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jones Shane!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braids tries to close the distance and clinch but Shane swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Braids looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Shane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Braids tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Shane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Braids takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Beanie Braids has been cut.
Shane closes the distance looking to clinch
and Braids counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Shane has managed to clinch.
Shane pressing his opponent against the cage.
Shane lands a nice uppercut.
Braids on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Shane has Braids pushed against the cage.
Shane lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Braids backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Shane misses with a knee strike.
Braids stalling in the clinch but Shane improves position.
Shane is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Braids is keeping busy.
Braids really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Shane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shane is looking to clinch but Braids is avoiding it.
Shane tries to close the distance and clinch up but Braids swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Shane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shane drops Braids with a beautiful combination! Braids stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Shane is looking for the KO!

Shane clinches up with Braids and pushes him back against the cage.

Shane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shane tries to clinch there but Braids circles away.

A slapping leg kick lands for Shane.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Shane, right into the meat.
Braids tries to keep at a distance but Shane has taken the fight into the clinch.
Shane works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Shane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Shane landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Shane breaks from the clinch.
Braids takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A decent looking cross lands there for Shane.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shane doesn't manage to clinch there - Braids circles away.
Shane wants to clinch.
Shane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Shane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Shane lands a jab-cross combination.
Beanie Braids's cut is getting worse.
Shane lands a head kick. Braids smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Shane rushes Braids with punches - Braids moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Braids goes down! Shane follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jones Shane!
