Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daryl Schillaci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Sticks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schillaci is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sticks gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Schillaci is breathing heavily.
Schillaci's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sticks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Schillaci pinned against the cage. Schillaci gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sticks bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nice takedown defense from Schillaci. No joy for Sticks on that attempt.
Sticks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Schillaci sprawls well initially but Sticks persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sticks tries to pass to full mount but Schillaci defends it.
Sticks landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Sticks scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Sticks is trying to control. Schillaci wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Sticks wants to free his trapped foot but Schillaci is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Well, if Sticks is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Schillaci is trying to stand up here but Sticks is controlling him well.

Sticks is trying to control the action in half guard but Schillaci is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sticks dives in and grabs Schillaci's left leg, looking for a takedown. Schillaci pushes down on Sticks's head and hops out.
Daryl Schillaci has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Sticks.
Schillaci stuffs the takedown.
Sticks moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Sticks fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Schillaci takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sticks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Sticks moves into range and clinches up with Schillaci.
Schillaci breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Schillaci wants to clinch but Sticks slips to the side
and Sticks counters by moving into the clinch.
Schillaci lands a hook to the side of the head.
Schillaci goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sticks jumps guard but Schillaci stands there with Sticks around his waist. Sticks gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sticks can't get the takedown.
Schillaci manages to break the clinch.
Sticks closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Schillaci is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sticks pulls his head out easily.
Sticks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schillaci. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sticks stops Schillaci from getting back to his feet.
Sticks seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Schillaci does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Schillaci is trying to stand up here but Sticks is controlling him well.
Schillaci manages to get to full guard.
Sticks is sitting in close to Schillaci's body. Schillaci has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sticks is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sticks is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Schillaci.
