Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BV Rasp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane comes to the ring accompanied by Megadeth - Symphony Of Destruction. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John McClane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, BV Rasp! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasp moves into range and clinches up with McClane. McClane manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
McClane is looking to control Rasp's arms but Rasp gets an underhook and turns him. Now McClane has his back to the ropes. Rasp has McClane pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. McClane manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Rasp tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
McClane pushes Rasp back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. Rasp throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but McClane blocks it with crossed arms. A short right from McClane on the inside. McClane leaning against his opponent.
Rasp has McClane pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. McClane manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. McClane breaks the clinch.
Rasp takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rasp ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. McClane throws a right and a left that both miss. McClane fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McClane dodges the punch combination from Rasp.
McClane lands a head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot lands for McClane. McClane lands a head shot. McClane fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. McClane fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Rasp looks gassed! McClane misses with a few strikes there.
John McClane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McClane throws a lazy right hand but Rasp sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Rasp takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A telegraphed right hand from McClane misses the target. McClane swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Rasp shoots for a takedown but McClane saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. John McClane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BV Rasp. Rasp drops his hands momentarily and McClane takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Rasp has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rasp there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rasp is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rasp slips a straight right by McClane. Rasp is still on wobbly legs! Can McClane finish him? McClane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rasp. Rasp seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McClane connects with a body shot. A shot to de liver by McClane. Beautiful body shot. McClane lands a left and a right that send Rasp crashing to the mat, dazed. McClane thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! McClane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Horrible takedown by Rasp or perhaps it was just good defense by McClane which made him look bad. McClane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rasp stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. McClane lands with a shot to the body. Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by McClane! Rasp is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John McClane!
