Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason David Frank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Bianchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Frank comes to the cage accompanied by Go Go Power Rangers. Alex Bianchi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jason David Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alex Bianchi!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

David Frank clinches.
Bianchi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
David Frank tries to land a knee to the head but Bianchi blocks with his arms.
Bianchi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bianchi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. David Frank smiles and moves away.
David Frank throws a nice head kick!

Bianchi tries to bench press David Frank off him but David Frank keeps the position.

David Frank is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bianchi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Bianchi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bianchi is looking for a sweep.

David Frank swings around for an armbar but Bianchi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into David Frank's guard.

David Frank working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bianchi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bianchi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
David Frank is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

David Frank wants to improve his position but Bianchi is controlling well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

David Frank goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bianchi is on top in guard.

David Frank has closed the distance and engaged Bianchi in a clinch.

David Frank escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
David Frank connects with a high kick.
Bianchi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Bianchi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells David Frank's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Bianchi wants to sweep but no luck.
Bianchi wants to get back to his feet but David Frank is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

David Frank is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bianchi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time David Frank.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Bianchi looks to score with a jab to the body but David Frank is just out of range.

David Frank is not content to let Bianchi control the position.
Bianchi works his foot free and advances to mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jason David Frank will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

David Frank lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bianchi!

The referee warns Bianchi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

David Frank is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bianchi is surviving well by controlling David Frank's body position as best he can.

David Frank stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

David Frank decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bianchi wants to improve his position but David Frank is controlling well.

Bianchi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. David Frank is working away from the top position though.
Bianchi looks like he's trying to stand up.
David Frank wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bianchi keeps working.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Alex Bianchi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
David Frank postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jason David Frank showed his dominance in that final round.
Well David Frank has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
