Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Americano Armbaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larissa Carolina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armbaro comes to the cage accompanied by Pimp Hop by Andre Nickatina . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Carolina misses.
Armbaro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Armbaro wants it to stay on the feet.

Armbaro closes the distance and clinches.

Carolina has Armbaro pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Carolina pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Armbaro tumbling to the mat - Carolina dives into Armbaro's guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Let's hope that Carolina has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Larissa Carolina just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Carolina's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Carolina takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Armbaro doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Armbaro gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Carolina to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Carolina stands and steps away. Armbaro gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Carolina shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Armbaro's guard.
Armbaro wants to stand up but Carolina is controlling him.

Armbaro is working an open guard so Carolina takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Carolina fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Armbaro avoids it really well and circles away.
Carolina tries to score a power double leg takedown but Armbaro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carolina somewhat.

Well Carolina has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
