Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bozec Bazel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Don Self!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bazel is looking to clinch.
Bazel tries to clinch up.
Self cracks Bazel with a good jab.
Self lands a nice hook to Bazel's body. Bazel takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bazel is breathing heavily.
Self throws a body punch but Bazel moves out of range.
Self shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Self sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Self working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bazel is working an open guard so Self takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Self moves into range and clinches up with Bazel.
Self is trying to break the clinch but Bazel has him pressed against the cage.
Self wants to get back to striking at distance but Bazel won't allow it.
Self has Bazel pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Self pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bazel tumbling to the mat - Self dives into Bazel's guard.
Bazel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Self on the ground.
Self is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Self won't allow Bazel to get back to his feet.

Self makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Self is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Self gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Self shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Self works his foot free and advances to mount.

The referee warns Bazel that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bazel takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Self has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Self forces the positional change into back control.
Self is riding his opponent, not letting Bazel buck him off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
