The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Liddell.

It looks like Chuck Liddell has been cut.
Evans shoots in and drives through. Liddell sprawls well.

Liddell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Evans.

Evans shoots in looking for a takedown. Liddell tries to sprawl out of it but Evans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Liddell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Liddell counters with a three punch combo that has Evans backing up. Evans nods at Liddell to acknowledge the strikes.
Liddell throws a left and a right that both miss

and Evans decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Liddell's guard.
Evans postures up in Liddell's guard and throws a big left but Liddell blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Evans throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Liddell to counter with a crisp jab.
Rashad Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Liddell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Liddell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Liddell cracks Evans with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Evans doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Liddell counters with a series of strikes. Evans will be more careful next time no doubt.
Liddell misses with a double jab

and Evans counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Evans.

Evans throwing strikes but missing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Liddell wants to get back to his feet but Evans passes into half guard.

Liddell manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Evans shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Evans was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Evans takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Liddell is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The referee warns Liddell that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Liddell is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Evans sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Chuck Liddell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Rashad Evans is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Rashad Evans comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Evans winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
