Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Fontana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Definitely. The key to victory for Tim Savage has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Fontana!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage throws a body kick that misses.
Fontana slips a jab and a cross from Savage.
Savage displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Fontana bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fontana working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Sloppy strikes there by Fontana.
Fontana throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fontana stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Savage lands a head kick!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fontana tries to close the distance and clinch but Savage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fontana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Savage pinned against the cage. Savage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Savage grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Fontana takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Savage cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tim Savage!
