Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danny Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josenildo Canhotinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Canhotinho has chosen Não Haverá Limites as his entrance music. Josenildo Canhotinho is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danny Fist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josenildo Canhotinho!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canhotinho shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fist as he avoids it easily.
Canhotinho looks for a takedown but Fist sprawls well.
Fist goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Canhotinho throws a nice looking combination but Fist bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Canhotinho shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fist manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fist is on top in guard.

Canhotinho has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fist can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fist gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Canhotinho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fist sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Canhotinho somewhat.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Fist is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Canhotinho defends well.

Canhotinho feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Fist got a little sloppy there for a moment and Canhotinho has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fist has managed to get both his arms back between Canhotinho's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Danny Fist.
