Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luke Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giuseppe Capuccio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Duncan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giuseppe Capuccio!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Capuccio finds it's target.
Capuccio looks for a takedown but Duncan sprawls well.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Capuccio.
Capuccio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Capuccio drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Duncan dives on top into guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Capuccio has a closed guard, preventing Duncan from standing up.

Capuccio working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Duncan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Duncan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Capuccio is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Capuccio fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Duncan manages to avoid it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Luke Duncan will probably get the nod.

Duncan lands with a hook. Capuccio tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

That was a close second round but I would say that Luke Duncan will probably get the nod.

Luke Duncan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Capuccio's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Duncan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Duncan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
