Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Quall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Peckerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quall kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Beach Blast. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body punch from Quall. Quall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Quall throws a lazy right hand but Peckerson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Peckerson closes the distance and clinches up with Quall, looking for a takedown. Peckerson pushes Quall against the cage but Quall circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Quall throws a shot from downtown. Peckerson moves away and avoids it. Quall looks to land a combination but Peckerson avoids it well. Quall just misses with a punch to the body.
Quall throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Peckerson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Peckerson thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Quall to regain full guard. Quall preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. You can see the frustration on Quall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
