Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John McManus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rudy Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marley's choice of entrance music: The Specials - A Message To You Rudy. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John McManus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rudy Marley! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McManus throws a head kick but Marley moves out of range.
McManus keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Marley. Marley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McManus moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McManus looks to land a left hand but Marley moved out of range nicely. A nice inside leg kick there by McManus. That's going to slow Marley down. McManus gets a clinch. Marley is trying to break the clinch but McManus is controlling him. McManus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. No joy there for Marley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McManus tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Marley swivels and escapes.
That's one minute gone in the round. McManus shoots in for a double leg but Marley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Marley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John McManus. That's going to take a lot out of him. McManus misses with a straight right. Marley swinging wilding here.
McManus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Marley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Marley scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McManus tries to close the distance and clinch but Marley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Marley misses with a series of wild punches.
Marley throws a right and a left that McManus avoids nicely. McManus misses with a double jab
letting Marley counter with a right hand. Marley misses with a series of wild punches.
McManus tries to work over Marley's front leg with a kick but Marley checks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A left and a right from Marley both land. Nice combination. Marley looks to land a combination but McManus avoids it well. McManus throws a push kick but Marley slaps the foot to one side. No luck with that takedown attempt from McManus. Marley falls off balance throwing a combination
and McManus counters with a series of strikes. Marley will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Marley cracks McManus with a good jab. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. McManus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. McManus trying to control but Marley is working from the bottom. McManus is breathing heavily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rudy Marley will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McManus gets the takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McManus wants to stand but Marley has his arm trapped. Marley tries to escape but McManus is in control. McManus is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marley wants to get back to his feet but McManus drags him back down. You can see the frustration on Marley's face as McManus controls the position. Marley wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Marley prevents McManus from moving into mount.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Marley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marley throws a right and a left that both miss. A punch combination from Marley misses. Marley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McManus. McManus really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Marley scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Marley falls off balance throwing a combination
and McManus counters with a solid body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marley jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McManus throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A combination from McManus does no damage. Marley connects with a single shot there. McManus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Marley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John McManus. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. McManus defending well as Marley loads up on a big left hand. McManus dodges the punch combination from Marley.

Marley stalks McManus and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McManus's face. McManus staggers backwards, shaken. McManus tries to clinch there but Marley circles away.
A left lands for Marley. McManus bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. McManus moves into full mount! McManus raining down shots from the mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Marley is trying to stand but he's just given McManus his back. McManus is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Marley won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips McManus off his unconscious opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). John McManus!
