Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donk Durgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geter Done (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Geter Done is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Donk Durgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Geter Done! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durgan doesn't manage to clinch there - Done circles away.
Durgan fails in his attempt to clinch. Done gets the takedown into side control. Done throws a strike aimed at the side of Durgan's head but Durgan avoids it well. Done is trying to get an arm triangle but Durgan is defending well. Durgan taking punishment in the form of punches.
Done is chipping away with strikes.
Durgan manages to get back to half guard. Durgan is looking for a sweep. Done is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Done is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Durgan sees it coming and defends easily. Done not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Done thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Durgan wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Done is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Done has Durgan up against the cage in a clinch.
Durgan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Done on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Durgan blocks the elbow strike.
Done has picked Durgan up - he's going for a ride! Done dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Durgan trying to control from the bottom.
Durgan taking some punishment here, with Done in his half guard. Done missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Durgan manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Done is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Durgan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Durgan keeping moving, preventing Done from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Done trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Done wants to stand but Durgan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Done throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Durgan is adopting a defensive guard. Durgan controls Done momentarily but Done frees himself.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Done with a hook. Durgan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Done counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Done. Durgan decides to pull guard. Done wants to get up but he can't break Durgan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Durgan controls Done momentarily but Done frees himself. Done in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durgan is trying to keep Done in close.
Durgan keeping moving, preventing Done from controlling successfully. Durgan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Done doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Done manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Done must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Durgan is trying to control the position but Done postures up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Durgan throws a body kick that misses. Done lunges at Durgan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Durgan's hand. Done has closed the distance and engaged Durgan in a clinch.
Done tries for a takedown but Durgan manages to get underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Done tries a body shot but Durgan blocks it.
Done has Durgan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Durgan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Done trying to land knees to the body.
Done takes a knee to the side of the body. Done looks gassed! Durgan taking a breather. Durgan lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Nice elbow from Durgan. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Durgan obliges. Durgan wants a takedown.
Done has Durgan pressed against the cage, preventing Durgan from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Durgan has picked Done up - he's going for a ride! Durgan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Durgan working the head and body with strikes. Done keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Durgan sitting and controlling from the half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Durgan is pressing down on Done's thigh, looking to free his foot. Done is holding on for now. Durgan is keen to just control but Done is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Donk Durgan will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Durgan has his takedown stuffed and Done counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Done thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Done sitting and controlling from the half guard. Done working Durgan over with strikes. Durgan is trying to maintain the position but Done is very close to passing his half guard. Durgan is concentrating on defense, preventing Done from advancing position. Done perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Durgan is controlling Done's position as best he can from this difficult position. Done is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Done is breathing heavily. Done is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Durgan has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durgan is refusing to be controlled, as Done sits in half guard. Durgan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Durgan. Durgan controlling Done's posture. Done has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Durgan to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Done is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Durgan pulls down on the head and he's put Done to sleep! This one is all over!
