The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Al Mamood drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McGee keeping moving, preventing Al Mamood from controlling successfully.
Al Mamood controls from within his opponent's guard.
McGee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
McGee pulls Al Mamood in close to his closed guard and prevents Al Mamood from doing any damage or advancing position.
McGee's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Al Mamood wants to control from the top but McGee keeps moving.
McGee wants to get back to his feet but Al Mamood is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Al Mamood postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

No joy there for McGee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
