Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steach Gibbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaylan Heath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbins comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Corruptor. Heath has chosen Showdown - Black Eyed Peas as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steach Gibbins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kaylan Heath!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heath takes a jab right on the kisser.
Gibbins misses with the combination.
Heath blocks a head kick by Gibbins.
Heath wants to clinch.
Heath doesn't manage to clinch there - Gibbins circles away.
Gibbins keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heath ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Heath is defended easily by Gibbins.
Gibbins throws a series of punches but Heath avoids them all with ease.

Heath shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gibbins's guard.

Heath drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gibbins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Heath has Gibbins in his guard.

Heath drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gibbins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Heath has Gibbins in his guard.

Gibbins goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Heath has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gibbins but great work by Heath.

Heath is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gibbins is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Heath is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gibbins has escaped the position, nice work there.

Kaylan Heath showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
