Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio dos Nikkos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and shogun o (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fabricio dos Nikkos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, shogun o! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! o tries to clinch but dos Nikkos is having none of it. o is looking to clinch but dos Nikkos is avoiding it.
o scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. o moves in looking to clinch but dos Nikkos pushes him off. Some wild striking there from o.
o finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
o moves in looking to clinch but dos Nikkos pushes him off. o keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. dos Nikkos misses with a takedown attempt - o sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. dos Nikkos shoots in looking for a takedown. o tries to sprawl out of it but dos Nikkos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. o manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fabricio dos Nikkos. That's going to take a lot out of him. o tries to close the distance and clinch up but dos Nikkos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. dos Nikkos fails miserably with a takedown attempt. dos Nikkos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
o forces dos Nikkos back against the cage and clinches. dos Nikkos fails to pull the fight into his guard.
o is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. o using the Thai plumb to throw knees but dos Nikkos has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
o connects with a nasty looking knee right to dos Nikkos's face.
dos Nikkos tries to pull guard but o holds him up against the cage and eventually dos Nikkos drops back down to his feet.
o looking to throw knees to the head but dos Nikkos is blocking nicely.
dos Nikkos avoids the elbow strike from o, against the cage.
o lands an elbow that stopped dos Nikkos in his tracks for a moment. dos Nikkos jumps guard but o stands there with dos Nikkos around his waist. dos Nikkos gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
o misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from dos Nikkos.
That's two minutes gone in the round. o with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
dos Nikkos tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. o smiles and moves away.
dos Nikkos fails miserably with a takedown attempt. dos Nikkos looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. o is looking to clinch. o fails with an attempt to clinch.
o tries to close the distance and clinch but dos Nikkos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A telegraphed right hand from o misses the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. dos Nikkos fails miserably with a takedown attempt. o moves in looking to clinch but dos Nikkos pushes him off. o gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows dos Nikkos to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. dos Nikkos looking to pass the guard. dos Nikkos trying to control but o is working from the bottom. dos Nikkos pushes down on o's leg and manages to get into half guard. dos Nikkos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so o is just riding it out for now. dos Nikkos eventually gives up the hold.
That's four minutes gone in the round. o is looking for a sweep. dos Nikkos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. dos Nikkos stops o from getting back to his feet.
dos Nikkos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. dos Nikkos is looking to take a break and control but o is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
shogun o dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
dos Nikkos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
o moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. o throws a head kick that misses. o misses with a takedown attempt and dos Nikkos counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for o! o is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
dos Nikkos has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! o is forced to tap!
