Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans gets a takedown into half guard.

It looks like Evans is going to stand back up.
King is looking to control Evans's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can King avoid being mounted?

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

King stuns Evans with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

I really don't envy Evans right now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Evans just trying to survive but King is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
King really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Evans.
King is punishing Evans with strikes - can he finish him?!
Evans is trying to stand back up.

King will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Evans shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. King manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

and Evans counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Evans has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but King can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
