Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Philip Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Jones.
Jones tries to clinch up but Mac circles away and keeps his distance.
Brian Mac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mac fails with a takedown attempt.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jones, as that shot connected.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jones scores with a jab to the body.
Mac closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mac lands in his opponent's guard.
Mac is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Mac stops Jones from standing up.
Mac trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mac stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Mac shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Mac takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mac circles away quickly and effectively.
Philip Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mac is defended easily by Jones.
Philip Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Mac.
Jones scores with a shot to the body.
Mac looks gassed!
Jones throws a series of punches but Mac avoids them all with ease.
Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jones scores with a hook to the body. Mac takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Mac shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Jones goes for a takedown in the clinch but Mac prevents it.
Mac has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Jones pulls guard effortlessly.
Jones looking for a triangle here. Mac is fighting it but it looks tight! Jones pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Mac is tapping out - this one is all over!
