Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manuel Quintas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quintas kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Monkey Black-El Sol La Playa. Kidd has chosen Onslaught 2 as his entrance music. Robin Kidd has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Quintas is looking to stand up but Kidd isn't so interested in that idea.
Kidd is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kidd stands and throws Quintas's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kidd is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Quintas is trying to escape and Kidd transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Quintas is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kidd! Very nice indeed!
