Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leslie Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pluto Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leslie Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pluto Nash! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nash tries to bum rush Brown with a series of wild strikes but Brown uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nash throws a head kick that misses. Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nash paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nash tries to close the distance and clinch but Brown swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nash tries to clinch and Brown counters by moving into the clinch. Brown tightens his grip and picks Nash up, before dumping him to the ground. Nash manages to land in guard. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Nash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Brown will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Brown passes Nash's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Brown is taking a breather. Nash says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Brown throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nash is trying to maintain the position but Brown is very close to passing his half guard. Nash wants to get back to full guard but Brown has mounted him! Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown looking for a guillotine from mount but Nash is having none of it. Nash is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Brown goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nash is on top in guard.
Nash stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nash won't allow Brown to sweep him here. Nash is looking to stand up but Brown won't let him. Nash looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nash has gone for a leg lock! Brown slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nash's guard. Brown wants to pass the guard but Nash is keeping the position. Brown trying to control but Nash is working from the bottom. Brown throwing strikes from guard but Nash blocks nicely. Nash has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nash looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Nash avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Brown postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Brown won't allow Nash to get back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nash throws a series of punches but Brown moves out of range. Brown shoots for a takedown but Nash saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Brown will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nash throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nash tries for a takedown but Brown circles away easily so Brown counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Brown thows a big elbow that misses. Brown pushing down on Nash's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Nash trying to control but Brown postures up.
Nash might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brown kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Brown slows the pace down in half guard. Brown wants to control but Nash is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leslie Brown dominated that round. That's time! Brown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Brown misses with an uppercut. Brown gets a takedown into half guard. Brown is keen to just control but Nash is a slippery customer. Nash keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nash is refusing to be controlled, as Brown sits in half guard. Brown seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Brown seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nash for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash is refusing to be controlled, as Brown sits in half guard. Brown wants to free his trapped foot but Nash is holding on for dear life with his legs. Brown is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Brown has a takedown stuffed. Pluto Nash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Nash looks to clinch so Brown counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Brown pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nash is keeping the position for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nash is on top in guard.
Nash has gone for a leg lock! Brown slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nash's guard. Nash tries to land a sweep but no joy. Brown throws and elbow that misses. Nash uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brown's guard. Nice move by Nash! Brown is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown keeping moving, preventing Nash from controlling successfully. Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Nash is proving a slippery customer.
Nash lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Brown is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Brown seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Brown wriggles free and stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Brown fails with a takedown attempt. Nash tries for a takedown but Brown circles away easily and Brown counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nash won't be happy with that. Brown is looking to take a break and control but Nash is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brown tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Brown trying to control the action but Nash is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leslie Brown dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Nash moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Nash fails in his attempt to clinch. Nash misses with a wild combination.
Brown tries for a takedown but Nash circles away easily and Nash counters with a takedown into side control. Nash tries for a kimura but Brown is defending well. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brown is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Nash off and has taken his back! Brown throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Brown's arms. Brown has the hooks in. Nash is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Nash looking very determined here, making life difficult for Brown.
Nash trying to control the action but Brown just sinks the hooks in. Brown is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Nash won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Brown off his unconscious opponent!
