Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Jester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cronus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen Never Thought About Going Back as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Jester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Cronus Jones!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Jester swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones tries to clinch there but Jester circles away.
Jester misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice takedown defense from Jones. No joy for Jester on that attempt.
Jester circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice shot lands for Jones.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Jester blocks a leg kick.
Jones tries to clinch there but Jester circles away.
Jester on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

and Jester counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jester trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jester stops Jones from standing up.
Jones pushes Jester off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Jester saw that one coming.
Jester feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jester has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jester's guard.
Jester is breathing heavily.
Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jester wants to improve his position but instead Jones has moved into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jester is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jones wants to get back to his feet.
Jester is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back!
Jester is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Jones has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Jester doesn't have the hooks in and Jones manages to turn into his guard.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jester swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jester is proving hard to escape from.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Jester is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Jones wanted to stand there but Jester had control of the position.
Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jester, up you get!
Jones throws a one two combo.
Jester is rocked!
Jester misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Jester. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones lands with a right and another and another! Jester is in big trouble! Jones lands again and this time it's lights out for Jester! A quality knockout there for Jones.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cronus Jones!
