The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wallhead is trying to defend but Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wallhead shoots in and bounces Silva off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Wallhead is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Wallhead eventually gives up the hold.
Wallhead seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Silva is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
