Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between gavin stacy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, gavin stacy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Sanders! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanders throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. stacy was covering up waiting for the punch and Sanders finishes the takedown easily into guard. stacy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sanders controls the pace. Sanders trying to control the position from guard on top but stacy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. stacy has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Sanders is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for stacy. Sanders working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Sanders in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanders is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. stacy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sanders tries for a kimura but stacy is defending well. stacy is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sanders has just dragged him back down to the mat. stacy struggling a bit here. stacy tries to bench press Sanders off him but Sanders keeps the position. stacy is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanders tries to clinch but stacy is having none of it. Sanders bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. stacy managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Sanders.
Sanders goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, stacy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sanders's guard! Nice work there by stacy! Sanders is trying to control the position but stacy postures up. Sanders controlling stacy's posture. stacy trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanders is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. stacy is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Sanders has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. stacy is looking to defend but Sanders has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for stacy! Sanders pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, stacy taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Nick Sanders!
