Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bozec Bazel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hill comes into the arena with Electric Gypsy - LA Guns blaring out of the sound system. Oliver Hill could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bozec Bazel's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oliver Hill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bozec Bazel! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bazel is looking to clinch but Hill is avoiding it.
Hill shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bazel pinned against the cage. Bazel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hill wants to clinch and Bazel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hill won't be happy with that. Bazel advances to full mount. Bazel jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hill is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hill and Bazel has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Bazel wants to stand but Hill is controlling his arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Hill manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bazel prevents Hill from standing back up.

Hill sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hill wants to improve his position but Bazel is controlling well.
Hill makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hill. Hill wants to stand up but Bazel is controlling him. Hill is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bazel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bazel should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hill controls Bazel momentarily but Bazel frees himself. Hill is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bazel is controlling him. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bazel is fighting to break Hill's control of his arms but Hill is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bozec Bazel dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bazel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hill throws a body kick the misses and Bazel counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hill is pressed up against the cage. Bazel has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hill down to the mat. Hill avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Hill throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hill fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill instigates a clinch. Bazel drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hill postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill looking to pass the guard. Bazel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bazel is looking to stand up but Hill isn't so interested in that idea. Bazel wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hill is now in half guard. Hill seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bazel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bazel tries to clinch up. Hill tries to clinch and Bazel counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hill gets back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bazel controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Hill is trying to keep Bazel in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bazel wants to stand but Hill has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Hill will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hill has control of Bazel's left arm, preventing Bazel from doing any damage. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bazel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bazel trying to control but Hill is working from the bottom. Hill has Bazel pulled in close to control his posture. Hill lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bazel! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hill looking to finish with strikes here!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bozec Bazel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Hill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Hill tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bazel counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Hill blocks an elbow strike. Hill looking to stall.

Hill has Bazel pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Bazel manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Hill with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hill tries to circle away but Bazel has him pinned against the cage. Bazel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bazel clinches but Hill breaks the clinch and Hill counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bazel keeping moving, preventing Hill from controlling successfully. Hill looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill wants to control from the top but Bazel keeps moving. Hill looking to pass the guard. Bazel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bazel pulls Hill in close to prevent any damage. Bazel keeping moving, preventing Hill from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hill seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bazel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hill holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hill tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Bazel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hill falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bazel counters with a one-two to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bazel counters by moving into the clinch. Bazel working Hill over with knees to the body. Bazel lands an elbow that stopped Hill in his tracks for a moment. Bazel looking to throw knees to the head but Hill is blocking nicely.

Bazel has clasped his hands together around Hill's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Hill is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bazel has just dragged him back down to the mat. Hill tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bazel is looking to take a break and control but Hill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hill sneaks back into half guard. Hill tries to roll over but Bazel keeps him under control.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bozec Bazel. Well Bazel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
