Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Farer Raweld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Handfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Farer Raweld! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vitor Handfort! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Handfort showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Raweld.
Raweld looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Handfort shoots in looking for a takedown. Raweld tries to sprawl out of it but Handfort keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Raweld manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Handfort tries to clinch up but Raweld circles away and keeps his distance. Raweld fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A head kick misses from Handfort. Raweld shoots in for a double leg but Handfort sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Handfort looks for a takedown but Raweld sprawls well. Handfort scores with a three punch combo!
Handfort moves in looking to clinch but Raweld pushes him off. Handfort fails with an attempt to clinch.
Handfort shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Raweld as he jumps to the side. Farer Raweld has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Handfort. Handfort shoots for a takedown but Raweld saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Handfort shoots in for a takedown but Raweld shows good takedown defense. Handfort throws a sloppy head kick and Raweld moves out of range easily. Raweld stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Raweld wants it to stay on the feet. Handfort will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Handfort shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Raweld sprawls well. Raweld wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Handfort gets slowly back to his feet. Handfort shoots in for a takedown but Raweld shows good takedown defense. Handfort throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Raweld's waist but Raweld gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Handfort off to one side. Raweld has managed to clinch.

Raweld goes for a takedown attempt but Handfort pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Handfort closes the distance but Raweld moves to the side and Raweld counters by moving into the clinch. Raweld manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Handfort tries to circle away but Raweld has him pinned against the cage. Raweld lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Handfort tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Raweld is trying to break free. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Handfort throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Raweld prevents a takedown attempt there.
Handfort manages to break the clinch.

Handfort misses with a takedown attempt - Raweld sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Handfort shoots for a double leg takedown but Raweld sprawls well. He's pushed Handfort's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Handfort fails with a takedown attempt. Raweld circles away from the clinch attempt and Raweld counters with a series of strikes. Handfort will be more careful next time no doubt. Raweld has taken the fight to the clinch.
Handfort tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Handfort is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raweld pulls guard effortlessly. Raweld is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Handfort is controlling him. Raweld keeping moving, preventing Handfort from controlling successfully. Raweld on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Raweld tries to get out of the position. Raweld trying to control the position.
Handfort drops back looking for a leg! Raweld is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Raweld manages to kick Handfort off! Handfort jumps back into Raweld's guard. Handfort won't allow Raweld to sweep him here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Raweld seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Handfort wants to get up but he can't break Raweld's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Handfort tries for a takedown but Raweld circles away easily and Raweld counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Raweld. Raweld is leaning against Handfort and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Handfort has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Handfort drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Raweld gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Raweld wants to get back to striking at distance but Handfort won't allow it.
Handfort misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Raweld.
Handfort has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Raweld avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Raweld jumps guard but Handfort stands there with Raweld around his waist. Raweld gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Raweld. Handfort is trying to drag Raweld to the mat but Raweld just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Farer Raweld dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Raweld is staying active underneath Handfort, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Raweld is looking to control Handfort's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Raweld avoid being mounted? Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Raweld is looking for a sweep. Handfort is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Handfort wants to work for an arm triangle but Raweld is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Raweld knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Handfort on the ground. Handfort is keen to just control but Raweld is a slippery customer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Raweld throws a series of punches but Handfort avoids them all with ease. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Handfort is defended easily by Raweld. Farer Raweld has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Handfort. Raweld throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Handfort counters with a one-two to the body. Raweld rushes Handfort and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A right hook to the body lands for Handfort.
Handfort has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Raweld is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Raweld gets through Handfort's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Raweld tries to pull guard but Handfort won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Raweld makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A frustrated look appears on Raweld's face as he tries to break the clinch. Raweld gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Handfort.
Handfort manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Raweld has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Raweld not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Handfort bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Raweld's guard. Raweld is looking to stand up but Handfort isn't so interested in that idea. Handfort pushing down on Raweld's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Handfort trying to pass the guard but Raweld defending well. Raweld wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Handfort stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Handfort looks for a takedown but Raweld sprawls well. Handfort feints and as Raweld raises his hands in defense, Handfort changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Handfort has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Raweld is proving hard to escape from. Handfort trying to control the position from guard on top but Raweld is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Raweld has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Handfort has passed into side control.
Handfort is looking to take a break and control but Raweld is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Handfort tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raweld tries to buck Handfort off but Handfort is having none of it. Raweld has one of Handfort's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Handfort shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Raweld defends it nicely. Handfort dives in and grabs Raweld's left leg, looking for a takedown. Raweld pushes down on Handfort's head and hops out. Handfort with a lazy takedown attempt and Raweld holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Still in the clinch, Raweld scores with a nice short uppercut. Handfort keeps control of Raweld as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Raweld jumps guard but Handfort stands there with Raweld around his waist. Raweld gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vitor Handfort showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Handfort is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Raweld drives through and clinches with Handfort against the cage.

Handfort looks for a takedown but Raweld sprawls well. Farer Raweld has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vitor Handfort. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Raweld fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Handfort, pushing him back against the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Handfort has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Raweld is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Handfort being controlled against the cage. Handfort looking for a takedown.

Raweld is pushing Handfort up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Handfort is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Raweld will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Handfort up against the cage. Raweld manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Raweld trying to control the position here. Handfort drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Handfort jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Raweld is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Handfort won't allow Raweld to get back to his feet. Handfort scoring with punches to the head and body. Handfort advances position into side control! Raweld tries to get back to half guard but can't. Raweld is trying to control Handfort's posture but Handfort avoids it. Handfort wants to lay and pray for a moment but Raweld keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raweld looks to move to half guard but instead Handfort has passed into mount! Damn! Handfort unloading with bombs! Handfort content just to control the position here. Handfort is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Raweld has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Handfort has hold of Raweld's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Raweld manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Raweld is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raweld tries to hold on but Handfort postures up. Handfort is working for a guillotine from mount but Raweld frees his head quite easily.
Raweld sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Raweld keeping hold of Handfort's head, controlling as best he can. Handfort wants to lay and pray for a moment but Raweld keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Farer Raweld. I think Raweld has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
