Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Slip Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and quick star (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
star attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

star fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kid, pushing him back against the ropes.
star stalls.

star escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
star takes a head kick and keeps coming.
star blocks a head kick by Kid.
Kid throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
star stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kid swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

star gets to his feet. Kid looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
star takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kid throws a leg kick which misses star's front leg but catches the back leg as star tries to avoid it.
star changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kid tries to avoid it but star manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kid to the ground. Kid escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kid buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kid lands with a nice combination. star backs away looking to recover.
Good leg kick by Kid there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Slip Kid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

star wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kid thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Kid is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and star defends well.

Kid has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but star can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

star shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kid as he jumps to the side.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
