Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jarek Dobromir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harrison Ovaltine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ovaltine is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rammstein - Sonne. On his way into the cage it seems that Jarek Dobromir has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jarek Dobromir seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jarek Dobromir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harrison Ovaltine! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ovaltine is looking to clinch. Dobromir closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ovaltine to the mat! Ovaltine manages to get full guard. Dobromir stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ovaltine swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dobromir is looking to work some ground and pound but Ovaltine has wrist control. Dobromir postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ovaltine is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dobromir, into his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dobromir uses the cage to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dobromir is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ovaltine! Dobromir unloads with some shots from mount but Ovaltine bucks and avoids them well.
Dobromir dominating with strikes here. Dobromir looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Dobromir wants to finish this one by submission but Ovaltine is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Dobromir. Ovaltine wants to try and get back to his feet. Ovaltine sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dobromir throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dobromir wants to control but Ovaltine is keeping him busy. Dobromir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ovaltine pushes Dobromir off looking to stand but Dobromir dives back in and keeps control.

Ovaltine won't allow Dobromir to pass to mount. Dobromir is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ovaltine has managed to free his arm - good work. Ovaltine tries to roll over but Dobromir keeps him under control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ovaltine displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dobromir. Dobromir feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dobromir postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ovaltine is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Dobromir wants to get back to full guard but Ovaltine has mounted him! Dobromir tries to reverse the position but Ovaltine maintains control. Ovaltine stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Ovaltine tries to clinch but Dobromir is having none of it. Dobromir closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ovaltine circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ovaltine smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Ovaltine throws the left hand but Dobromir avoids the punch easily. Ovaltine wants to clinch. Dobromir circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dobromir gets a takedown into half guard. Dobromir thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ovaltine won't allow Dobromir to pass to mount. Dobromir is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dobromir throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. That's one minute gone in the round. Dobromir wants to control but Ovaltine is keeping him busy. Ovaltine is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dobromir missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dobromir tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ovaltine sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dobromir somewhat. Ovaltine scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Dobromir shoots in but no luck this time. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dobromir is defended easily by Ovaltine. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jarek Dobromir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ovaltine throws a right and a left that both miss. Dobromir shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ovaltine as he jumps to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ovaltine stuffs the takedown attempt from Dobromir. Dobromir gets slowly back to his feet. Dobromir swats away the attempt to clinch by Ovaltine. Dobromir shoots in for a double leg but Ovaltine sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dobromir tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ovaltine swivels and escapes. No joy there for Ovaltine, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dobromir shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ovaltine's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ovaltine wants to sweep here but Dobromir controlling him for the moment. Dobromir is working Ovaltine over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Dobromir cracks Ovaltine with a solid left hand. Ovaltine pushes Dobromir off and scrambles back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ovaltine rushes Dobromir and presses him up against the cage. Ovaltine misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dobromir.
Ovaltine is trying to maintain a safe position but Dobromir gets an underhook and turns Ovaltine into the cage. Dobromir tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Nice work there by Ovaltine! Dobromir working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ovaltine doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ovaltine manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ovaltine stands up and waves to Dobromir to follow him. Dobromir shoots in but Ovaltine avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dobromir looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ovaltine puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Ovaltine decides to stand and escape the position. Harrison Ovaltine is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ovaltine is looking to clinch but Dobromir is avoiding it.
Dobromir shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ovaltine manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dobromir looking to sit in guard and control but Ovaltine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dobromir wants to hit a switch here but Ovaltine passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Dobromir there! Dobromir keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dobromir looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Dobromir tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Ovaltine avoids the attempt from Dobromir to control. Jarek Dobromir overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dobromir is wriggling around trying to escape.

Dobromir goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ovaltine turns into him and now he's in Dobromir's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jarek Dobromir. I think Dobromir has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
