Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Schmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Schmo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Power!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Schmo momentarily.
It looks like Joe Schmo has been cut.
Power has closed the distance and engaged Schmo in a clinch.
Power has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Schmo is trying to keep an underhook but Power manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Schmo wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power wants to stand up but Schmo is controlling the position.
Power is looking to take a break and control but Schmo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Power thows a huge punch but Schmo dodges it nicely.
Schmo is looking to improve his position.
Schmo pushes Power off looking to stand but Power dives back in and keeps control.
Schmo moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Power must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Power wants to stand but Schmo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Schmo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Schmo is on top in guard.
Schmo trying to control but Power is working from the bottom.

Power is wriggling around but Schmo manages to pass to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Schmo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Power doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Schmo.
Schmo not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Schmo wants to take a breather but Power is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Schmo shoots and misses
and Power counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Schmo!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Power looking to control and managing it successfully.

Schmo is breathing heavily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Power misses with some ground and pound and Schmo recovers position to half guard.
Power takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Power throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Power wants to stand up but Schmo has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Power seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Power sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Schmo defending well though.
Power lands strikes from half guard.
Power stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Power gets a clinch.
Power is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Schmo can't break the clinch.
Power manages to break the clinch.
Power cracks Schmo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Schmo falls backwards against the cage. Power follows up with more strikes that drop Schmo to his knees. Power keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Schmo! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Power!
