Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between The Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nigel Beanhead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, The Dragon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nigel Beanhead! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beanhead tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dragon paws at him with a jab and circles away. Beanhead swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Beanhead misses with a wild combination.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Dragon!
Dragon tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beanhead swivels and escapes. Dragon tries to clinch enabling Beanhead to counter with a crisp jab. Dragon throws a series of punches but Beanhead moves out of range. Dragon lands a jab to the nose. A swing and a miss from Beanhead. Dragon tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Beanhead counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Beanhead lands a hook that snaps the head of Dragon backwards. Beanhead pushes Dragon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Beanhead lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Dragon tries to pull guard but Beanhead holds him up against the cage and eventually Dragon drops back down to his feet.
Nice body punch from Beanhead - that landed with a thud.
Dragon lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
It looks like Nigel Beanhead has been cut. Dragon has Beanhead pressed against the cage, preventing Beanhead from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Dragon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Dragon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beanhead looking for a takedown. Dragon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Beanhead uses from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beanhead is in close to Dragon's body, working some short punches and elbows. Beanhead postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dragon is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Beanhead must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Beanhead is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Dragon looking to control.
Beanhead is looking to stand up but Dragon won't let him. Beanhead is posturing up here but Dragon has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Beanhead tries to roll out but it's too tight and Beanhead has to tap! Slick submission there by Dragon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). The Dragon!
