The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Larkin misses its intended target.

Shawn Larkin's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Wheatly is looking to clinch but Larkin is avoiding it.

Wheatly gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Wheatly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wheatly tries to pass the half guard into mount. Larkin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wheatly landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Larkin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wheatly's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wheatly's back!

Wheatly manages to reverse the position and now he's in Larkin's guard. Nice work there by Wheatly.
Larkin is trying to keep Wheatly in close.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Larkin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wheatly is aware though and is defending well.
