Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mo Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerrero has chosen I Lie I Cheat I Steal! as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mo Mason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eddie Guerrero! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mason keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Guerrero. Mason throws a nice looking combination but Guerrero bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mason avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Mason fails with a takedown attempt. Mason misses with a few strikes there.
Guerrero misses with a wild body shot. Mason misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mason throws a right and a left that Guerrero avoids nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason fails with a takedown attempt. Nice takedown defense from Guerrero. No joy for Mason on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerrero leaves Mason with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mason fails with the takedown. Guerrero throws a hook to the side of Mason's head but Mason sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mason slips under a jab. Mason moves out of range of the strikes. Guerrero defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mason. Mason plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Eddie Guerrero has been cut. Guerrero ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mason swinging wilding here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guerrero swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mason throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Guerrero. Mason shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mason is figuring out what he wants to do next. Mason is trying to control the action in half guard but Guerrero is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mason takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mason has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Mason not doing much here.
Guerrero is trying to stand.
Mason controlling the action here. Mason is looking to take a break and control but Guerrero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Mo Mason just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nice sprawl there from Guerrero as Mason shoots in. Guerrero misses the jab. Guerrero cracks a nice hook into Mason's ribs. Mason throws a head kick that misses. Eddie Guerrero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mason ducks under a wild hook from Guerrero. Mason throws a right and a left that both miss. A jab from Guerrero misses. Mason throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Guerrero's waist but Guerrero gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mason off to one side. Mason shoots in for a takedown but Guerrero shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mo Mason will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Eddie Guerrero's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mason closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mason lands in his opponent's guard. Mason sitting in guard here, content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guerrero wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mason manages to pass to side control. Mason trying to control from half guard but Guerrero is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason wants to work for an arm triangle but Guerrero is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mason trying to control the action but Guerrero is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mason prevents Guerrero from standing back up.
Mason controlling the action here. Mason thows a huge punch but Guerrero dodges it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mason with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mason tries to pass the half guard into mount. Guerrero knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Mason is taking a breather. Guerrero says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Mason is trying to control. Guerrero wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

A big right from Guerrero misses. Guerrero stuffs the takedown. Guerrero looks to land a right hand but Mason moved out of range. Mason throws a nice looking combination but Guerrero bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Guerrero lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Mo Mason has been cut. Mason digs a good body shot into Guerrero's ribs. Mason doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Guerrero swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mason fails with the takedown. Guerrero misses with a hook. Mason misses with a low kick.
Mason takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mason ducks under a wild hook from Guerrero. Mason uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Guerrero. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Guerrero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Guerrero looks to land a left hand but Mason moved out of range nicely. Mason fails with a takedown attempt. Mason closes this distance looking for a takedown but Guerrero circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Guerrero pinned against the cage. Guerrero gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mason misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Mason with that takedown attempt. Guerrero throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. No luck for Mason with that takedown attempt. Guerrero waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mason. Guerrero blocks a head kick by Mason.
Mason looks to land a combination but Guerrero avoids it well. Eddie Guerrero seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mason misses with the combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Mason. Guerrero slaps away a takedown attempt from Mason, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mason takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mason shoots in for a takedown but Guerrero shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mason darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mason seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason wants to take a breather but Guerrero is having none of it. Mason stops Guerrero from getting back to his feet.
Mason is working for an americana but Guerrero has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Mason was thinking about the submission. Guerrero wants to stand up but Mason is controlling him. Mason's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mason trying to control but Guerrero is working from the bottom. Mason is stalling in the full guard. Mason trying to control the position from guard on top but Guerrero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! Eddie Guerrero comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Guerrero has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
