Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ping Pong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raye saad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ping Pong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Raye saad!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
saad blocks a head kick by Pong.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from saad.
saad looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Pong keeping moving, preventing saad from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pong is trying to control the position but saad postures up.
saad tries to stand but Pong is controlling from the bottom.
saad drops back looking for a leg! Pong is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pong manages to kick saad off! saad jumps back into Pong's guard.
saad trying to control the position from guard on top but Pong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

saad passes easily into side control. Nice work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pong fails with a takedown attempt.
Pong shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

saad holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

saad wants to get back to full guard but Pong has mounted him!

saad tries to reverse the position but Pong maintains control.
Pong sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
saad can't escape the position.
saad is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pong tries to control but saad wriggling away.
saad is trying desperately to improve position.
Pong stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - saad looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pong slips a straight right by saad.
saad misses with a body shot.
Pong throws a nice head kick!
Raye saad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pong moves into range and clinches up with saad.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pong blocks an uppercut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
saad is looking to control Pong's arms but Pong gets an underhook and turns him. Now saad has his back to the cage.
saad fails to pull the fight into his guard.

saad manages to break the clinch.
Pong tries to clinch up.
saad stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
saad feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Pong sprawling to the canvas! Pong rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can saad finish him?!
Pong is rocked!
It looks like Ping Pong has been cut.
saad lands a huge takedown. Pong is out but the ref is slow to react and saad lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Pong lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raye saad!
