Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacKinnon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bieksa tries to avoid it but MacKinnon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bieksa to the ground. Bieksa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bieksa misses with a few strikes there.
MacKinnon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from MacKinnon is defended easily by Bieksa.
Bieksa scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


It looks like Jon MacKinnon has been cut.
Bieksa tries to clinch there but MacKinnon circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

MacKinnon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bieksa walks away with a smile on his face. MacKinnon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bieksa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by MacKinnon.
Bieksa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but MacKinnon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jon MacKinnon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jon MacKinnon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
