Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Humu Kalakaua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vvierme Llamer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalakaua comes to the cage accompanied by Ho'okena. The crowd seem to be enjoying Llamer's choice of entrance music: Prodigy - Spitfire. Vvierme Llamer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Humu Kalakaua!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vvierme Llamer!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Llamer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kalakaua as he jumps to the side.
Kalakaua throws a series of punches but Llamer avoids them all with ease.
Kalakaua throws a head kick but Llamer moves out of range.
Kalakaua displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Llamer.
Llamer moves in looking to clinch but Kalakaua pushes him off.
Llamer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Humu Kalakaua has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vvierme Llamer.

Llamer has managed to clinch.
Kalakaua is trying to break the clinch but Llamer has him pressed against the cage.
Llamer lands an elbow inside.


It looks like Humu Kalakaua has been cut.
Kalakaua is trying to stall.

Kalakaua takes an elbow to the forehead.


Humu Kalakaua's cut is getting worse.
Llamer manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Humu Kalakaua's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Llamer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kalakaua gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Llamer.

Llamer has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kalakaua is trying to keep an underhook but Llamer manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Llamer looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kalakaua with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Llamer is stalling here. Kalakaua is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Llamer seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kalakaua has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Kalakaua stands up.

Llamer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kalakaua seems a little lost for a moment, as Llamer dominates the positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Llamer throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Llamer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kalakaua dodges the ground and pound from Llamer.

Llamer tries to score with some ground and pound. Kalakaua controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Who's going to make the next move?
Kalakaua managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Llamer.
Llamer is looking to take a break and control but Kalakaua is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Llamer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kalakaua sprawls well initially but Llamer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Kalakaua is looking for a sweep. Llamer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kalakaua on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Llamer is looking to advance position but Kalakaua won't allow it.

Llamer is looking to take a break and control but Kalakaua is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kalakaua wants to control but Llamer postures up.
Llamer in side control lands a decent elbow.
Llamer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kalakaua keeps working.
Kalakaua is trying to control Llamer's posture but Llamer avoids it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Llamer landing strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kalakaua is not content to let Llamer control the position.
Llamer throws an elbow but Kalakaua slips to the side and avoids it well.
Llamer throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Llamer wants to control but Kalakaua is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Llamer moves in looking to clinch but Kalakaua pushes him off.
Humu Kalakaua is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Llamer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Llamer looking to control but instead Kalakaua has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Llamer is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vvierme Llamer dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Humu Kalakaua's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Kalakaua stops a takedown attempt from Llamer.

Llamer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kalakaua's head.

Llamer has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Llamer connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Vvierme Llamer has got the better of the ground game so far.

Kalakaua is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Llamer looking to control but Kalakaua is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Llamer looking to ground and pound but Kalakaua is blocking nicely.
Llamer with a couple of short strikes.


Jeez, Humu Kalakaua's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Humu Kalakaua's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
