The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Townsend is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nakamura scores with a couple of nice shots.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nakamura is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Townsend sees it coming and defends easily.
Townsend moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Townsend escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nakamura gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Nakamura scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Kenneth Townsend's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kenneth Townsend's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
