And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua shoots in and drives through. Suvinil sprawls well.
Suvinil is looking to clinch.
Suvinil changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rua tries to avoid it but Suvinil manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rua to the ground. Rua escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Suvinil displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rua.
Rua tries for a takedown but Suvinil circles away easily

and Suvinil counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Tilolospan Suvinil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maurico Rua.
Rua misses with a short punch on the inside.
Suvinil keeps control of Rua as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Suvinil connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Maurico Rua has been cut.

Suvinil lands a knee to the head.

Rua is rocked!
Suvinil with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Rua can't break the clinch.
Suvinil scores with a nice hook to the head.
Rua is still on wobbly legs! Can Suvinil finish him?
Rua looks gassed!
Suvinil throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rua blocks it with crossed arms.
Suvinil jerks Rua's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Rua drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Suvinil goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Suvinil because Rua was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
