The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tenney is looking to clinch but Saburo is avoiding it.
Saburo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tenney as he jumps to the side.
Saburo fails to land the takedown.
Saburo tries to land a front kick but Tenney steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Saburo shoots in looking for a takedown. Tenney tries to sprawl out of it but Saburo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tenney manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Saburo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tenney. That did some damage!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
