Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Monkey Bagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monkey Bagger could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Antonio Silva's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Monkey Bagger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Silva! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bagger moves into the clinch. Bagger is trying to break free. Silva turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Silva tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bagger tries to buck Silva off but Silva is having none of it. Bagger can't do much from the bottom here. Silva fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Who's going to make the next move? Bagger on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bagger tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Bagger's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bagger is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Silva has just dragged him back down to the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Bagger on that attempt. Bagger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bagger shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Bagger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch. Silva jumps guard.
Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bagger defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bagger defends well. Bagger sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bagger wants to stand and escape but instead Silva has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva throwing strikes from guard but Bagger blocks nicely. Silva looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Silva stands and steps away. Bagger gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Silva is looking to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva in side control, throwing shots but Bagger defends. Bagger is breathing heavily. Silva lands a nice forearm strike. Silva is putting a hurting on Bagger here, landing some big shots from side control. Bagger parries the strikes from Silva easily there. Silva is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bagger to escape.
Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Silva throws a strike aimed at the side of Bagger's head but Bagger avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antonio Silva dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Bagger dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Bagger's head and hops out. Silva tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bagger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Silva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Bagger! Bagger is looking to improve his position but Silva isn't that keen on the idea. Silva punishing his opponent with strikes.
It looks like Monkey Bagger has been cut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Silva looking to finish Bagger with some ground and pound. This is bad for Bagger! Bagger throwing hammer fists to the chest of Silva. What's that going to do exactly? Silva looking to control but Bagger is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva lands a big shot there that rocks Bagger but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Silva raining down shots from the mount! Silva get's back to his feet. A nice combination there by Silva.
Monkey Bagger's cut is getting worse. Silva gets a takedown into half guard. Silva not landing any meaningful shots this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bagger keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Silva is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bagger has managed to free his arm - good work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silva working Bagger over with strikes. Silva is looking to take a break and control but Bagger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bagger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground. Bagger trying to hold on to Silva's head to control him but Silva postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bagger has hold of Silva's hands but Silva slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Silva missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Silva is looking for a kimura here.
Silva not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ground and pound from Silva. Silva is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bagger is defending against the submission attempts here by Silva.
Bagger is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Silva pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antonio Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Monkey Bagger's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bagger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bagger wants it to stay on the feet. Silva fails with a takedown attempt. A combination from Silva does no damage. Bagger tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Silva wants to clinch but Bagger slips to the side and Bagger counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bagger tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Silva is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Silva is working for takedown but Bagger is calmly controlling the position for now. Monkey Bagger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Silva. Silva has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bagger uses from the top position. Bagger looking to sit in guard and control but Silva gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Silva stands up from Bagger's guard - Silva perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bagger tries to keep at a distance but Silva has taken the fight into the clinch. Silva lands a damaging elbow. Bagger trying to land knees to the body.
Silva breaks the clinch.
Silva closes the distance but Bagger moves to the side and Bagger counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bagger circles away from the clinch attempt and Bagger makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Silva really felt that one! Antonio Silva is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bagger clinches but Silva breaks the clinch and Silva counters with a three punch combo that has Bagger backing up. Bagger nods at Silva to acknowledge the strikes. The fight moves into the clinch position. Nice elbow from Silva. Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bagger avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bagger is trying to break the clinch but Silva has him pressed against the cage. Bagger wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Silva tries to clinch there but Bagger circles away.

Silva had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bagger defends it easily. Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Silva holds on and takes a little breather. Bagger throwing strikes from guard but Silva blocks nicely. Silva wriggles free and stands up. Silva closes the distance and clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bagger tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Silva smiles and moves away.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Bagger, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Bagger against the cage but Bagger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Silva lands a high kick!
Monkey Bagger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Silva gets a clinch. Bagger is pressed up against the cage. Silva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bagger down to the mat. Bagger avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Silva gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bagger trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Monkey Bagger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Silva pulls Bagger in close to his closed guard and prevents Bagger from doing any damage or advancing position.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Monkey Bagger. Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
