7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Burns! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murray scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
It looks like Travis Burns has been cut. Burns uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Murray. Murray throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Burns moves away from the strike by Murray. Murray fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Cameron Murray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Murray lands a lovely overhand right. Burns shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Murray pinned against the cage. Murray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Cameron Murray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Burns. Murray lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Burns circles away quickly and effectively. Burns slips a straight right by Murray. Murray throws the left hand but Burns avoids the punch easily. Burns moves away from the strike by Murray. Murray looks to throw the jab but Burns is out of range. Cameron Murray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murray throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Burns sees it coming and avoids it easily. Burns is trying hard to land a takedown here. Murray sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Burns misses with a takedown attempt - Murray sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Murray throws a series of punches but Burns moves out of range. That's four minutes gone in the round. Burns is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The fighters circling - Murray throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Murray misses with a hook. Burns shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Murray sprawls well. Murray wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Burns gets slowly back to his feet. Burns is trying desperately to land a takedown but Murray is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Burns. Burns blocks a jab. Burns doesn't manage to clinch there - Murray circles away.
Murray bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Burns's head. Murray looks to score with a jab to the body but Burns is just out of range. Burns tries to clinch up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That has opened up Travis Burns's cut even more. Burns looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Murray! Burns looking for a guillotine from mount but Murray is having none of it. Murray tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns looking to secure an arm triangle but Murray defends it well. Burns jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Murray manages to avoid the submission attempt. Burns tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Murray is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Burns is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Murray knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Murray manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Murray makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Burns looks for a takedown but Murray sprawls well. Cameron Murray is winning the standup battle so far. Murray misses with a looping right. Murray throws a series of strikes that have Burns backpedaling.
Burns misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Murray pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Murray thows a body shot but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns avoids the body shot from Murray.
Travis Burns is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Murray lands a big right hand that sends Burns crashing to the mat! Murray stays standing though and waves Burns back to his feet!
Burns is rocked! Murray grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Burns takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Murray cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
