Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alajandro flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuko Shimaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
flores blocks a head kick by Shimaki.
Shimaki is looking to clinch.

Shimaki is trying to drag flores to the mat but flores just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

flores breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
flores rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shimaki moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Shimaki checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Shimaki is looking to control flores's arms but flores gets an underhook and turns him. Now Shimaki has his back to the cage.

flores lands a left hand that snaps the head of Shimaki backwards.
Shimaki jumps guard but flores stands there with Shimaki around his waist. Shimaki gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
flores is trying to work for a sweep but Shimaki has mounted him!
Shimaki cracks flores with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shimaki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Shimaki feints and as flores raises his hands in defense, Shimaki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Shimaki lands a nice short elbow.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
flores fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Shimaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but flores circles away quickly and effectively.
Shimaki tries to close the distance and clinch up but flores swats him away and circles back towards the center.

flores shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shimaki's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Shimaki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Shimaki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and flores has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from flores and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Shimaki throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Shimaki has flores pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Shimaki pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending flores tumbling to the mat - Shimaki dives into flores's guard.
