PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Bugala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burcee Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Piotr Bugala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Burcee Pain!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bugala checks the leg kick nicely there.

Bugala shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pain napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bugala is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Pain will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Bugala is nestled in close to Pain, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Pain is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bugala's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bugala's back!

Pain is going olschool here, as he tries to force Bugala to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bugala shrugs it off.

Bugala drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bugala lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Pain down.
Pain is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Pain makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Bugala closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Pain tries to kick Bugala off but Bugala keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Pain is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bugala is just riding it out for now. Pain eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bugala, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
