Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Prince Adam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hamish Peter! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adam fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Peter, pushing him back against the cage. Peter wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Adam throws a head punch that misses. Adam tries a knee to the head but Peter blocks it.
Adam pulls Peter into guard.
Peter wants to stand but Adam is controlling his posture from full guard. Adam preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Adam wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Adam is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Adam has a closed guard, preventing Peter from standing up. Adam is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Adam had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Peter defends it easily. Adam escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adam working for a triangle but Peter defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Peter wants to stand but Adam has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Peter throws a sloppy strike and Adam has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Peter is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Adam!
